Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS): Preparation for Flight ✈️

Once again, OSU Ag & NR Program in La Grande is partnering with DelMar Aerospace to offer a 4-day course to familiarize participants with UAS remote pilot certification requirements and UAS operations. Upon completion of the course, participants will be prepared to take the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam. This training will include hands-on operation of a UAS. This year, the entire course will be held at EOU in La Grande, so no outside travel is needed.

The course will include four 10-hour days on the following weekends:

• Saturday, May 9th/Sunday, May 10th: Classroom-based, in-person instruction at Badgley Hall 230 at EOU.

• Saturday, May 16th/Sunday, May 17th: Badgley Hall 230 and outdoor drone flights on campus.
