Competitive Grants
Agricultural producers continually look for ways to improve
crop production. Although old methods and technology are still
practiced and used on some farms today, most producers now
integrate sophisticated high tech knowledge and equipment
to improve crop production.
Every year, the General Fund awards monies for new research
projects aimed at advancing and improving agricultural technologies.
For fiscal year 2006-2007, the General Fund awarded $337,844
to initiate 35 new projects. Those projects are listed in
the Current Projects section of this website.
GUIDELINES
Guidelines for project proposals will be posted on this site
every April. Oregon State University Faculty interested in
agricultural research are encouraged to apply.
