Our Mission
Our mission is to encourage, facilitate, aid and engage in scientific
investigation, research experimentation, and to support educational
training activities relating to agriculture throughout the State
of Oregon. As a corporate affiliate of Oregon State University,
the Foundation promotes the development, use, management, and
protection of all natural resources of the State of Oregon while
working in partnership with the College of Agricultural Sciences
Agricultural Experiment Station.
The Foundation assists in securing funding for diverse research
projects conducted by faculty members in the various departments
within the College of Agricultural Sciences. The Foundation
also provides funding for new innovative projects which, hopefully,
will economically increase agricultural production within
the State of Oregon and globally as well. Some of these projects
funded by the Foundation’s General Fund are outlined
in the Venture Capital section on this site. |
